Similarly, all style issues should be resolved in consultation with The Chicago Manual of Style. Citations of biblical verses and talmudic passages should be included in the text of the article, surrounded by parentheses, rather than in the notes. Hebrew text must be transliterated and should follow the general rules used by the Encyclopaedia Judaica, with the following exceptions: is h; is ts. Normally, Sephardic pronunciation should be used.
