Please note: The following books and articles come from many sources. Some were written by Rav Soloveitchik some with his permission and others without his knowledge. As a result, there are occasional contradictions between the sources. It is the responsibility of the reader to decide which source is more reliable. In addition, it is well known that Rav Soloveitchik never used old notes in preparing lectures and so he frequently presented ideas at variance with interpretations presented at other times. There have been several complete bibliographies of the works of Rav Soloveitchik (see #72, #73 in the section of works about Rav Soloveitchik). We have added books and articles that have appeared since they were written and also material about Rav Soloveitchik. We have not included material that appeared in newspapers or other sources that are difficult to find. Links to sites offering further resources and information can be found at the bottom of this page.
