TRADITION and the Rabbinical Council of America brought together authors from our recent issue on “The Yom Kippur War After 50 Years” as they discuss insights from their contributions to our pages and the sudden, tragic timeliness of that issue for events unfolding in Israel.
Program (recorded October 10, 2023):
Dr. Shlomo Fischer is a senior fellow at the Jewish People Policy Institute and professor of sociology (emeritus) in the School of Education of Hebrew University.
Rabbi Jeffrey Saks, editor of TRADITION, is the founding director of ATID and its WebYeshiva.org program.
Rabbi Dr. Tzvi Sinensky is the director of the Lamm Heritage Archives and director of Judaic Studies at Main Line Classical Academy in Lower Merion, PA.
Moderator: Mrs. Mali Brofsky, a clinical social worker, teaches at Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim and at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Hebrew University.
In the hope that our readers will find it meaningful at this troubling, tragic time in Israel, TRADITION has made the content of our entire special “Yom Kippur War After 50 Years” issue (Summer 2023) open access as a special digital book.
