R. David Ebner z”l

Rabbi David Ebner zt”l was an educator who combined sensitivity, passion, and warmth with keen intellectual rigor and profound moral integrity. He taught for decades at Yeshivat HaMivtar, Michlelet Bruria, Yeshivat Eretz HaTzvi, and at ATID–WebYeshiva.org. Scores of his talmidim went on to become educators in their own right, furthering his influence to the next generation.

Writing in a 1992 TRADITION Symposium on “Divided and Distinguished Worlds” he demonstrated his unique qualities as a Rav, teacher, thinker, poet, and sensitive soul, writing:
